Trained to see what others miss.
Sarah came to Pilates not as a fitness trend but as a lifeline. After abdominal surgery and a period of feeling physically and mentally fragile, she discovered what deliberate, precise movement could do for a body. She was hooked. By 2017, she was certified and teaching, driven by one thing: helping others feel what she felt.
Today, Sarah holds a master training certification in Classical Pilates and and is fully certified in Contemporary Pilates, a rare combination that lets her meet each client exactly where they are and take them exactly where they need to go. Her cues are unhurried, her eye is sharp, and her investment in your progress extends well beyond the studio door.
What sets Sarah's training apart goes beyond the hours and the certifications. Her classical lineage traces directly to Joseph Pilates himself, through Lolita San Miguel, one of only two instructors he ever personally certified. In the Pilates world, that lineage matters. It means the method Sarah teaches has never been diluted.

THE FIRST SESSION
You'll leave feeling invigorated, not exhausted.
Your first session is designed to make one thing clear: you belong here.
1 — You Arrive
Sarah meets you at the door. There's no front desk, no class already in progress, no pressure to perform. If your energy is low, that's fine. Water, music, fan, whatever you need. This space adjusts to you, not the other way around.
2 — You're Heard
Before anything else, Sarah wants to know about your body. Your goals, your history, your limitations, what brought you here. This isn't intake paperwork. It's the conversation that shapes everything that follows.
3 — You Move
A brief assessment, a simple roll down, gives Sarah a baseline, and then you're in it: your first fully curated session, built entirely around you. Two to three days later, Sarah checks in. How did your body feel? What did you love? The next session is already being shaped by your answer.
THE work
This is what changes.
People come to FlowFit for many reasons. They stay because something shifts.
Core strength that shows up when you need it most, not just on the mat. Flexibility you stopped expecting to get back. Hips and a lower back that no longer dictate your day. The ability to bend, lift, reach, and keep up without thinking twice about whether your body will cooperate.
But the change that surprises people most is the one they didn't come in asking for. The mental clarity. The sense of being at home in their body again. Pilates was always as much about the mind as the movement, and that is exactly how Sarah teaches it.
You came here to feel better. This is how that happens.

FAQ’s
Good Questions. Real Answers.
-
Not at all, and honestly, Sarah loves working with complete beginners most of all. There's nothing to unlearn and everything to build. Every practice starts from the ground up, designed specifically for your body and where it is right now. No prior experience required, no expectations to meet.
-
Yes, and this is actually Sarah's specialty. She works extensively with clients who have orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, tight or painful joints, and limitations they've carried for years. Many clients come to FlowFit on the direct recommendation of their doctor or physical therapist, as a next step after formal rehab. Sarah will always work within, and around, what your body needs.
-
Absolutely. Pilates was created by a man, Joseph Pilates, and it is for every body regardless of gender, age, or fitness background. FlowFit welcomes all clients.
-
Classical Pilates follows the original method and sequence developed by Joseph Pilates himself. Contemporary Pilates incorporates modern movement science, updated modifications, and additional equipment and techniques. Sarah holds Master Trainer certification in both, which means she can offer either, or a thoughtful blend of both, depending entirely on what your body needs. You don't need to choose. She will.
-
Fitted, comfortable athletic wear that you can move freely in. If you're wearing shorts, please wear fitted leggings or biker shorts underneath. No loose or open shorts on their own. This is important for both movement safety and comfort on the equipment. Nothing needs to be fancy, just fitted and functional.
-
Simply reach out via the contact form. Once Sarah hears from you, she'll send a welcome email with everything you need: where to park, what to bring, payment information, and what to expect. From there, you'll decide whether you'd like a single session, a Five Pack, or a Ten Pack. Packages of five or ten include a dedicated time slot held exclusively for you each week.
-
Credit card, debit card, and cash are all accepted in the studio.
-
This is something Sarah takes seriously. Every client receives homework, functional movements and stretches they can do anywhere with no equipment at all. If you travel frequently, she'll build you a travel-ready routine. Virtual sessions are also available at the same rate as in-person, so your practice doesn't have to pause just because you're away.
-
That's exactly why FlowFit exists. Sarah greets every client at the front door. There's no front desk, no class full of people watching, no commercial gym energy. If you walk in low, you're given space to arrive slowly. The studio looks out over a quiet wooded backdrop. It is genuinely peaceful in there. Come as you are.
-
FlowFit is located at 11205 Bright Pond Lane in a small private community of five homes. You can park in front of the house or in the driveway. After your first or second session, Sarah will let you know the door is always unlocked. Feel free to come right in.
